About Planet Femme

Planet Femme is committed to living up to its name providing a space on the web for women in the LGBT communities across the U.S. and beyond.   Hence, the name Planet and Femme. Femme isn’t meant to exclude butches or bois but means woman or female as derived from its French translation. 

Through the Planet Femme Network and our newsletter announcing local events around the U.S., Planet Femme endeavors to catalyze and bring women together.

At the Planet Femme Network, women can post free event announcements, personals, classifieds, jobs & housing notices as well as art, videos, poetry and prose to be viewed by the whole community.

Planet Femme celebrates a world of remarkable women (especially through our Remarkable Directory), which we all are in our own unique way. And every woman has her own way of connecting (soulful), being herself (sexy) and letting her light & passion shine through (sweet). Every woman has the potential to be pride in action!

Based in the Los Angeles/ Pasadena area, Planet Femme (since its inception in 2005) also hosts events on occasion in typical L.A. fashion: great women and the classiest environments welcoming our community in all its beauty and diversity.
